NTDA supplier member Profit from Training celebrated its 20th birthday on 2nd January 2016 with a new up to date logo and a change of name, the company is now known as PFTP Ltd.
Profit from Training was established in 1996 and since then has been one of the leading approved training suppliers for NTDA members, including REACT training. Although a small company, PFTP has a commitment to provide excellent training and service to its customers which is borne out by the fact that many customers have worked with the company for a number of years.
The two directors, Alison and David Higginson, have been involved in the tyre and fast-fit industry for over twenty five years and have seen a lot of changes. They are supported by office manager Sharon Burbidge, who is the first point of contact for training courses, which include technical courses, health and safety and management training.
David and Alison are passionate about the training they deliver and both have a great deal of experience in putting together training courses to meet the needs of companies and work closely with the Institute of the Motor Industry for the Quality Assured Programmes. The Apprenticeship Programme is now available again via PFTP and Alison recently said; “funding is changing all the time and when Apprenticeships are available, companies need to make the most of them, especially as there are currently 5000 unfilled vacancies within the motor industry. This is a way in which skills can be improved for the benefit of all.”
