Strengthening ties with the UK tyre industry, Sailun and the NTDA announce new partnership milestone.
Sailun Tyre and the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) are pleased to announce that Sailun has been formally accepted as a member of the NTDA, becoming the first Chinese tyre manufacturer to achieve this distinction. The move marks a milestone for both organisations, reinforcing Sailun’s commitment to the UK tyre sector and NTDA’s expanding engagement with global manufacturers operating in the region. With a growing footprint across Europe and an emphasis on sustainable innovation, Sailun views its NTDA membership as an opportunity to build closer relationships with UK retailers, distributors, and trade professionals.
Ian Andrew, Chief Executive of the NTDA, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sailun Tyre as our newest member. The NTDA values engagement from across the full tyre supply chain and tyre manufacturers, including Sailun, have a pivotal role to play in supporting the ongoing development of the retail and wholesale elements of the sector. I am looking forward to Sailun supporting and participating in NTDA events as we continue to help sustain and develop our members.”
Harry Wang, Managing Director of Sailun Tyre Europe, said: “Joining the NTDA is an important milestone for Sailun as we continue to strengthen our position in the UK market. We value this opportunity to engage more directly with the UK tyre industry, contribute to shared goals, and foster deeper collaboration with local partners.”
