Membership Criteria and Annual Subscriptions Fees

You must have been trading for a minimum of one year before your application can be considered. The NTDA does not admit part-worn car and light vehicle tyre retailers into membership.
Full Membership
(Tyre Specialists including Mobile Tyre Fitting)
Full Membership is open to tyre specialist distributors, retailers and mobile tyre fitting companies whose applications are accepted by the NTDA Executive Council.
Head Office Subscription: £595.00 + VAT*
*Plus Branch Subscriptions as follows (per branch if applicable):
1 – 25 branches: £75.50 + VAT
26 – 100 branches: £73.50 + VAT
101 – 200 branches: £55.00 + VAT
201 – 300 branches: £38.75 + VAT
301 – 400 branches: £37.85 + VAT
400 – branches: £28.00 + VAT
Supplier Membership
Supplier Membership is open to firms who are suppliers of goods and / or services to the tyre specialist trade whose applications are accepted by the NTDA Executive Council.
Examples of products and services currently offered by NTDA Supplier Members include:
Aftermarket parts and spares, Alignment machines, Business Services (e.g. insurance, pensions, public relations, recruitment), Diagnostic equipment, Consumables, Innovative tyre management software, Nitrogen inflation systems, Precision measurement devices, PPE, Racking and storage solutions, Services kits, Training, Tyre changers, Tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), Tyre recovery and recycling / reprocessing, Tyre repair materials, Tyre re-treading, Tyre tread depth readers, Tools, Valves, Vehicle lifts and ramps, video production, Wheels, Wheel balancers and Work-wear.
Supplier Annual Subscription: £675.00 + VAT
(Please note that for all categories of Membership, new members joining during the subscription year will be charged on a pro-rata basis, calculated on the number of full months remaining up to 30th November). Annual Subscriptions are allowable for tax purposes.
Rules of the Association
Under the current Rules of the Association, the following applies:
Sub article 14.1
The year of membership shall be to the 30th of November in every year and renewal of subscription for the following year shall therefore become due on 1st of December.
Sub article 16.6
If any Member resigns as hereinafter provided: – A Member may resign at any time by giving at least one month’s notice in writing before 30th November and on paying with such notice any subscriptions or other monies then due from such member (see also sub-articles 14.4, 14.5, 16.1, and 16.11).
Sub article 14.4
When the amount of each annual subscription has been assessed and notified to the Member, payment shall then become due according to the provisions of the Company’s terms of payment and the Board may take such steps as may be necessary for collecting and enforcing payment thereof. Any Member ceasing to be a Member shall be liable to pay all subscriptions imposed during the period in which they were a Member.
Sub article 14.5
Payment of subscription shall entitle a Member to the benefits of Company membership to the end of the current year i.e., 30th November unless the membership shall be terminated earlier under these provisions or otherwise. On any such termination no part of any subscription shall be returnable unless the Executive Council so orders.
Sub article 16.11
A Member who ceases to be a Member of the Company for any reason shall forfeit all claim for the cancellation of any outstanding debt to the Company or the return of any money paid by them to the Company on their admission as a Member, or by way of annual subscription or fees for goods and services.
